Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said that the Israeli army attacked more than 80 targets in Lebanon, claiming to have targeted dozens of Hezbollah members in the Bekaa and Nabatieh regions. He added that any violation of the ceasefire by Hezbollah "will be met with a very strong response," stressing that Israel "will not allow its soldiers and citizens to be harmed." Katz also confirmed that the Israeli army will remain in what he described as the “security zone” in Lebanon, from the sea coast to the heights of Beaufort Castle.
